We provide Home and Community Based Services (Waiver Programs), CLASS Case Management and Texas Home Living Services. We are proud to provide one of the most competent community based programs in the state of Texas, providing services in the Dallas area since 1998, and serving people in seven counties.

Our dedicated team of professionals has accomplished high levels of academic achievement. For example, our case managers have graduate and post graduate degrees in social work and psychology. The management team has a combined experience of over 25 years in Waiver Programs. In fact, one of the pioneers in the pilot program in 1979 that led to the development of Home and Community Based Services in Texas is part of our team.

Since February of 2008 we have been providing Case Management Services in the Community Living Assistance and Support Services (CLASS) for the following counties:

A person should work with Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) to get a referral to receive this valuable service from AHS.

Westside Development Center (WDC) is currently undergoing a transition and has enjoyed helping its residents relocate to community (HCS) settings through the support of the DADS Money Follows the Person project (MFP) program. While Westside continues to provide Day Habilitation services, it is no longer accepting persons into the Development Center. Please contact Vickie Selby for additional information about the MFP program.
