Since February of 2008 AHS has been providing CLASS Case Management and Direct Services through the Abilene office for the following counties:

Erath	Parker
Hood	Somervell
Palo Pinto	Wise

In several counties near Abilene we also are a CLASS Direct Services provider. This means that we are able to directly provide you with all those habilitation services that you choose to help you lead the life you envision. These services could include nursing care, psychological therapy, physical therapy, adaptive supports and in home assistance. AHS also provides direct CLASS services in the counties shown below:

A person should work with Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) to get a referral to receive either of these valuable CLASS services from AHS.

Northview Development Center is a large ICF/MR center. We offer a structured setting in a small county-seat town. Nursing services, employment training opportunities, Behavior support and life skills training are offered to anyone who has been determined to have a developmental disability. We can support almost all ages - people from teenagers to adults are welcome.

At Northview the staff truly care about the people we serve. Our approach is hands-on, and person-centered. We will assist you plan your future and obtain the supports you want and need .

AHS has recently opened the "Valley House" which is a 3 person home located only 2 blocks from downtown Eastland. With the support of 24 hour per day staff, the three women who reside in this newly remodeled 3 bedroom, two bath house enjoy the independence of being able to fully participate in this wonderfully engaging community.
