Since February 2008 we have been providing Case Management Services in the Community Living Assistance and Support Services (CLASS) for the following counties:

Austin	Galveston	Walker
Brazoria	Harris	Waller
Colorado	Matagorda	Wharton
Fort Bend	Montgomery

A person should work with Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) to get a referral to receive this valuable service from AHS.

If you choose to live at Sweetbriar Development Center the staff and people who live here work together as a team. We like to work hard and play hard and strive for excellence in everything we do. Our pride is reflected in our home and the work we do. We are very involved in Special Olympics participating year round in softball, basketball, volleyball, track & field, and bowling. The people who live here tend to be very interactive with each other and are relatively independent in most daily living skills. Because we have 24 hour/day nursing support on site, we are able to also meet the needs of people with medical issues. We offer employment opportunities for people with disabilities in the areas of lawn care, food services, housekeeping, laundry, and clerical support.
