AHS prides itself on making its work environment one of the safest in the field. Since 2006, worker's compensation payments have dropped over 90%. Through the efforts of all the AHS staff, our workplaces are now safer than ever and employees throughout the State are working hard to ensure that they are doing their jobs in a "Safety Counts" manner. This means that everyone we support (consumers and families alike) benefit from these efforts.
After starting a new year with a focus on reducing employee injuries, AHS is pleased to announce we have achieved a further reduction of 42% in work related incidents. All of the employees have made a huge difference in making this reduction and during the coming months we intend to do even more!
Congratulations to our recent Safety Lottery winners! Through each of your efforts AHS has made significant strides in safety and reducing on the job injuries.
